AT PROTOCOL ECOSYSTEM

A Bluesky client that speaks AT Protocol.

Bluesky is only the first app built on the AT Protocol. Around it, a whole ecosystem — the ATmosphere — is taking shape: long-form publishing, hidden posts, and services that haven't been invented yet. Helico is designed to make that ecosystem visible without ever leaving your timeline.

standard.site articles become rich cards

standard.site is a long-form publishing platform built on the AT Protocol. In most clients, a link to an article is just a URL. Helico recognizes standard.site links and renders them as dedicated cards carrying the author and the publication's theme color — you can tell what's behind a link before you tap it.

It works both ways: compose a post with a standard.site link and Helico attaches the same rich card to it. Profiles show the publications a person runs, and this very website is verified as a standard.site publication.

Skyblur posts, revealed in place

Skyblur lets people publish posts with parts hidden behind a blur. When one of those posts shows up in your timeline, Helico reveals it with a single tap — no jumping to another app, and multi-image posts keep their grid layout intact.

Conversations shouldn't break just because they started in a different client. That's the point of ATmosphere support.

See a person's ATmosphere from their profile

On the AT Protocol, a single account carries data from every service a person uses, all in one repository. Helico inspects that repository and shows, right on the profile, which other ATmosphere services someone is active on.

It's a window into the network beyond Bluesky — and a way to discover new corners of the ATmosphere through the people you already follow.

Sign in the AT Protocol way

Helico supports ATProto OAuth. You never hand your password — or even an app password — to Helico; you sign in on Bluesky's own authorization screen. It's the standard, safer way to authenticate on a decentralized network.

Why this matters

The AT Protocol ecosystem is just getting started. As new services appear, timelines fill up with links that most clients treat as opaque URLs. Helico interprets them natively, one service at a time, so you know what's behind a link before you tap.

Support for more ATmosphere services will keep arriving in future updates.
